Posted on Jan 1st, 2019 Comments (0)
Northgate Highlands has a new Board of Directors for 2019! To let you know what we're about, we created Vision, Mission, and Values statements! Also, we developed Guiding Principles for your Board of Directors!
Vision - We envision a community that offers an inspiring lifestyle and quality of life, and is a desirable place in which to live and enjoy the benefits of family, friends, and community.

Mission - Our mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life and sense of community through effective and efficient management of the Association, enforcement of rules and covenants to preserve property values, and support initiatives and capital improvements that benefit the greater good of the community.

Values - In all our activities to achieve our vision and mission we value integrity, fairness, consistent firmness and common sense, community participation, respect, cooperation, and sense of community.
Guiding Principles - We strive to:
  • Have Board Members and Committees who work together as teams, recognizing differing opinions are what make organizations powerful
  • Respect the Board’s final decisions, creating a unified organization to make great decisions
  • Listen to, respect, value, and consider others’ thoughts, opinions, and viewpoints
  • Encourage collaborative and diverse participation from involved members
  • Be honest and transparent with members in all matters that may be legally shared
  • Comply with federal, state, and local laws, as well as abide by the NGH Bylaws, Policies, and Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R’s)
  • Uphold the CC&R's and policies of the HOA by taking a fair, ethical, and objective approach in representing the interests of all homeowners to ensure all additions and changes to lots, homes, and common areas will preserve or enhance the value of our properties as a whole
  • Use the experience, skill, and talents of all Board Members to implement responsible business decisions, ensure fiduciary responsibility, and to be good stewards of HOA property and assets
  • Treat every issue which comes before the Board with respect
  • Communicate well with homeowners in a timely manner via appropriate mediums
  • Facilitate opportunities for activities and committees promoting a close-knit neighborly community that works together for the good of all
  • Disclose conflicts of interest and appropriately recuse ourselves, as required
  • Collaborate with our Community Manager
  • Serve in the best interests of the Association and its homeowners
