| Reminder to Secure Homes and Vehicles |

This is a friendly reminder to always remember to secure your homes and vehicles, close garage doors, use exterior and interior lighting, set alarm systems, and be on the lookout for suspicious behavior. By doing this you will help keep our neighborhood safe! Any suspicious behavior should be reported immediately to the Colorado Springs Police Deparrment (CSPD) at 719-444-7000.

| Reminder: Taking down Holiday decorations |

Please have your holiday lights and decorations taken down by the middle of January.
From section 3.7 of the Design Guidelines:
Holiday lighting may be installed without prior approval; however, it must comply with
other aspects of the covenants, bylaws, and design guidelines. Specifically, holiday lighting
must not be offensive or a nuisance. Outdoor lighting used for recreational purposes must
be turned off by 11 p.m. Holiday lighting must not be installed any earlier than 45 days
prior to the holiday and removed within 20 days after the holiday.

| Christmas Tree Recycling |

There are a couple of options for disposing of your real Christmas trees. You can either recycle the tree by taking it to one of the designated drop locations (see this link for more details) or you can arrange to have it picked up with your weekly trash service. Note that our trash provider, Bestway Disposal, will not take your Christmas tree even if you set it at the curb -- unless you have called them first and arranged the pick up with them. The cost is $10 per tree and the tree will be disposed of and not recycled.

| 2012 Curbside Recycling Program |

Our neighborhood trash provider, Bestway Disposal, is handling curbside recycling accounts for our homeowners on an individual basis. Cost for this service will remain the same $60/year. If you already have recycling with Bestway Disposal and want to continue you don't need to do anything. Otherwise, contact Bestway Disposal directly for details about how to stop or start service. |

The city recently painted the crosswalks at the main entrance at Northgate and Voyager. In addition, there are various markings throughout the neighborhood where street repair is needed.
